Vehicles configured for cameras, guides who understand light, and the patience to sit with one sighting for three hours.
A photographic safari is mostly about willingness to wait. We use camps with open-sided vehicles, bean bags and charging points, and guides who will position on the sun rather than the animal.
Amboseli for elephants against the mountain, the Mara for cats in long grass, Samburu for the northern species in hard red light.
